Migrating DB 8.x to 9.1 without Update MFG version

Hi everybody,


We have MFG/Pro 8.5f running on Progress database version 8.3 and we want to migrate to Progress version 9.1 without upgrade MFG/Pro.

We think to achieve this first recompiling the Application and if everything is o.k., we´ll migrate the database.

So I wonder if someone had done something similar and wants to share his experience with us.

We are facing the same situation as Jose's company - viz, upgrade of Progress from 8.x to 9.x without upgrading MfgPro v9.0 with customisations......

Would be grateful for any knowledge sharing on approaches that we can take, pros and cons, probable problems and issues etc
