Database Administrator – MFG/Pro
Reading, PA
Primary Responsibilities: Design, install, monitor, maintain and tune production databases within the MFG pro ERP environment while ensuring high levels of data availability.
Develop, implement and oversee database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
Provide business process understanding and database standards expertise to ERP projects.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other technical area.
Minimum of three (3) years experience with Progress database tuning and troubleshooting within a MFG/Pro ERP environment.
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and practices as well as knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems.
Working knowledge of process, hardware and software validation in a regulated life science environment and Sarbanes Oxley compliance needed.
