Dear Mad I have some doubts that why the .lk file created while restoring. "I got a error like probably truncate bi .lk" why restoring a incremental slices\.
please give me any idea

Please list the exact steps you did... If you get an exact error number you can search the Progress KB http://knowledgebase.progress.com/

It is usually quite helpful on the most common issues.

Incremental backups and restores are evil and should be avoided. Without a catalog system like RMAN it is very easy to have issues with them.
