How do you kill a user's session on Syteline. We have this one user whose
computer locked up on him in the middle of his session and now when he
tries to work with a particular job, it gives him this message:
Database Status
Job in use by <username>,34 on <computername>. Wait or choose Cancel to
stop. (2624)

I went into the Syteline Administration menu "Admin ->Server
Maintenance->Monitor Database Activty"
and diplayed all users and I noticed that this user had a stray session.
How do I kill it?

We are running Syteline 4.00.02 for Windows NT 4.0

Thanks,
Letron

Use the Promon "Shut Down Database" utility. It has an option to shut
down a user. If you first look at the list of users (a different Promon
utiliy), that will give you the user number for the locked out user.
You can then shut down that user number.
