Hi Its mahseh,

I am new to this forum. When i tried to open some posts i am getting the following message instead of the actual information.

maheshatpt, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Please tel me how to go through this ?

You may be trying to read posts imported from external forums eg. the Peg.

This facility appears to be disabled, probably to stop confusion when you try to post a response to a thread that doesn't actually exist here, (just a guess).

Go to the forum/resource in question directly instead.

eg.
www.peg.com
www.psdn.com

Did you get to the thread via Search, or New Posts, or by clicking down through the main ProgressTalk menu?

As far as I can tell, since you didn't give link to link directions (and I can't read it either), that's not the ProgressTalk Webspeed forum, it's the Peg Webspeed forum.

ProgressTalk imports Peg posts because there is more activity on the Peg, but I think you can't see the individual posts because Peggers complained about ProgressTalkers trying to post to them, and not gettinng a response, because they didn't realise the posts were from another forum. Just a theory, haven't seen any announcement.

The forum you want is here:

http://www.peg.com/lists/webspeed/web/

The ProgressTalk Webspeed list is here:
