Hi all. I have just started learning progress and am enjoying it quite alot. This prob a silly question but is it possilbe to have progress as your RDBMS and use a language such as C#.Net,C++.Net for all your front end stuff?

i think theres a mapping prodataset to ado.net walk through example. besides java sdo, webservices and odbc/jdbc (preferably with a recent version).

you may need to register (for free).


i don't use a .net front end but i know many companies do and are happy with this setup.

sadly we'll need to wait for at least another year for native .net ui support. but user interfaces are one of the main focus points for the next major release.
