From www.techsmiths.com I have downloaded a great monitoring utility called LockMon.
The documentation, however, is skimpy. I have it up-and-working ... and I like what I see ... but I can't understand how to get LockMon to access the AppServer. Has anyone else succeeded in doing this?
In particular, when you enter AppServer details it wants a "ping procedure". Presumably this is syasping.p which (it says) must be in the PROPATH on the AppServer. Problem is that syasping.p invokes Unix sh/ksh code ... but our AppServer is a Windows box.
Any help appreciated!
Ron.
