Development environment: OE 10.2B SP4 Architect, Eclipse 3.5 on Win XP SP3

Deployment environment: OE 10.2B SP4 Red Hat Linux

I get the warning in Architect: "FILL-IN will not fit in frame". When program is compiled and run on Linux, there is not problem. Is there a setting in Architect to eliminate this warning? I haven't been able to find it by looking at the Docs, Help, or setting in Architect.

I think it is caused by the default font that is used in the Progress clients that Architect runs in the background.

Try going Window > Prefrerences in Architect then go to section OpenEdge Architect > Startup You can set your startup parameters there. I added a reference to our ini file there so that the client compiles using font settings. Mind you, I needed to do that for our Windows client (we only run appserver programs on Linux).

Hope this helps

Yeah I get those sorts of errors when the ini is missing from the parameters. It's worth a shot anyway.
