{&END} built-in preprocessor

Under WebSpeed what does the {&END} built in preprocessor do? I'm guessing it closes the web stream.

Cannot find any OpenEdge documentation on this preprocessor except it used in there examples.

Found where the pre-processor has been defined.

src/web/method/cgidefs.i

and the {&END} is just a Full Stop.
