Encode/DEcode strings

Hi there,

Does anyone know a simple Encode/Decode DLL that converts strings. Preferrable a simple DLL so that it can be called from multiple apps

under unix there is uuencode/uudecode utility. Or use BASE64-DECODE /BASE64-ENCODE ABL command

Thanx for replying Maxim, also in the other post.

It needs to be run from Progress and Delphi, bot on Windows. If i use a internal Progress feauture, i need to unraffle it and write tehe code in Delphi. Something i don't want to be up against.
I have found one DLL that works from Progress but doesn't from Delphi. There are many tools focussing on encrypting/decrypting files, but i just need it for a string conversion in memory.
