_sqlsrv2 temporary files location

Running HP-UX 11i, Progress 9.1d09 with _sqlsrv2 broker started -T /dbtmp.
Connecting Crystal Reports 10 for query using DataDirect ODBC driver on a PC.

It appears that temp sort files from the query are going to the HP folder where the broker was started, and ignoring the -T.

I have a vague memory of there being a parameter or environment variable that one can use with the server for this, but a quick look in the docs didn't reveal it for me. There are some -SQL* parameters which might be relevant for other purposes, but not one I found for which disk to use.

You write "... it appears ...", therefore I guess you don't use the -t parameter. AFAIK the temporary files created by the database broker on *nix operating system are unlinked. Therefore you won't see 'em with a directory listing unless you specify -t. This will make them visible.

HTH, RealHeavyDude.
