Description: We are looking for a "HEAVY HITTER" Programmer/Analyst for
our client. The ideal person would have experience with upgrades from
ver 9.0 to eB2 with more than 5 yrs experience and experience working on
large projects. This is a Full-Time Permanent position that is available
IMMEDIATELY for the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
* Programming in Progress on large projects.
* Work on Web based applications and in other areas as
required.
* Manage and/or provide guidance to junior team members.
* Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and
with members of interdisciplinary teams.
* Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans.
Position Requirements
* College diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
* Proficiency in a variety of programming languages
* Extensive relational database and operating systems
experience with Progress (Peoplesoft would be a plus)
* Upgrade experience with a current QAD Mfg/Pro package.
* Thorough understanding of platforms such as UNIX / NT.
* Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and
understanding new technologies.
* Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Highly self motivated and directed.
* Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment.
