10.2 DB with 10.1 clients

we need to do an emergency roll out of 10.2b on our servers - we'll be compiling the code up in 10.2b and the databases will be 10.2b but the clients will still be on 10.1

We are having to do this as an emergency as we need to install the ODBC dataservers and progress have removed the 10.1 dataserver download from their website.

We've utilised the functions of 10.1 but, as far as I am aware, we've not utilised the functionality of 10.2...

Any thoughts guys?

You should be ok as long as you haven't accidentally utilised any of the new 10.2b features.

I thought it may be okay but just not sure if any database features might cause everything to fall over...

we've got a silent install for 10.1 so looking into doing a quick version of it for 10.2 just incase...

Just to let you know, if at all bothered, 10.1 clients will run quite happily looking at 10.2 database/appservers
