OpenEdge Developer / Business System Analyst
Required Experience & Skills
- We are seeking an experienced Software Developer / Business Analyst with 5+ years of OpenEdge GUI development.
- Applicants must have strong analytical, design, specification, development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, organization, time management and communication skills.
- Candidates must be motivated self-starters who can run with a project through completion without close supervision. They must possess the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details and deadlines.
- Flexibility to changing demands and priorities is important.
- System Integration skills are a definite plus – the ability to integrate heterogeneous systems (different databases, languages, protocols) and allow them to communicate and perform updates via Webservices, ODBC’s, CONNX, etc.
Requirements:
- OpenEdge GUI development
- Progress Client/Server techniques, including n-tier systems, AppServers, Webservers
Familiarity/Experience with these systems/tools/concepts a plus:
Manufacturing, Quality, LIMS and NCR systems
Metals industry
WaveFront LIMS System5
Infor Syteline ERP (or other ERP’s)
CONNX
