All, OE11.2 / Windows 2008 I have the need to print some ASCII Extended characters (specifically Heart, Diamond, Club & Spade) but I can't seem to find the right solution. Is it possible to print these characters? Here's the only chart I could find but when I try to use CHAR(&#9824) which...

    Upgrade from 9.1e to 11.2 / Performance

My client would not spend the extra $ for Enterprise - I would like that personally but I am not paying their bills. I currently have 32bit because I was told you couldn't install 64bit rdbms on the same box as 32bit OE Developement Studio. The client wanted it setup this way so it's 32bit...

    Question Migration v9.1E to OpenEdge 11.2 (32bit)

I meant "OpenEdge Studio"...I inadvertently left off the "Studio" part - of course OpenEdge has 64bit...Furthermore, Progress' solution for this was to run 11.2 64bit RDBMS and run 11.1 32bit OpenEdge Studio (downgraded) in order to allow them to be installed on the same machine.

Tom - I've gone round and round with Progress Support / Sales on making sure I get the right bits to install. I currently have 32bit OpenEdge, 4GL, RDBMS & Client networking. Originally, I wanted to use 64bit for everything but Progress does not support 64bit OpenEdge and when I went to put it...

Renamed existing table - later removed table but extent is full from previous data

Progress 9.1E / Windows Server 2k3 I did a dump and load a few weeks ago on my database and discovered a problem loading data for my mail table which I believe is related to non-ASCII characters present in the data. Because it is quoted and some of the text contained double quotes along with...
